We were able to do the entire park in our stay, hardly any waits anywhere. They gave my son a sundae and sang to him. Im about 175 lbs and would happily ride either my 12m or 17m in 15 knots and I only ride. We ate at Johnny Rockets, a 50's style diner, which was decent but expensive ($80 for 5 people, basic hamburgers and hotdogs). Local Beach: West & East Wittering (UK South Coast). The only ride closed was a coaster called the Ghost Rider, which is pretty good considering it's off season. There was this other nightmare called Riptide that spins you and turns you upside down and then just keeps you there, then goes the opposite direction, all the while having fountains of water squirting at you making you think you'll get wet but you don't. There's Boomer Rang (a coaster that launches you like a rubberband), Montezuma's Revenge (one of the older coasters that just does a frontwards loop and then a backwards loop). Sierra Sidewinder is another good coaster. On the Silver Bullet coaster, your feet hang out and you're flipped all around. I can't do it justice, but suffice it to say it looks horrible. It goes straight up and then straight back down. For those wanting more thrills, there's Accelerator, which I haven't mustered up the nerve to go on yet. You can take a ride in a scenic elevator up to the top of the park to have some good views. And there's a train ride that goes around the park, and a stagecoach ride with horses that we've never been on because it seems to take too long to get a turn. There's the usual twisting and rocking rides that I just can't stomach (literally), and there's an entire area of the park called Camp Snoopy that's geared toward the less than 5 (or 7 or so) crowd. Jaguar is a good middle of the road coaster too. Also, a Pony Express coaster that's not too bad. There's a log ride that's pretty tame, a Calico Mine train ride that's not scary, a Coast Rider coaster that's not too bad. In the mild mannered category there's Roaring (?) Rapids, where everyone sits on a round raft type thing and you go through rapids and everyone gets wet. The park has a good mix of rides, some for the mild mannered and others for the brave hearts. Another staff member on one of the rides sang him happy birthday, which was nice. One sheriff found out it was our son's birthday and sang him a song and gave him a birthday button. The Old Wild West is the theme, with fake saloons, sheriffs, one room school houses and there was even a museum (didn't go in it). The only time Knott's gets unbearable as far as crowds is summer and holidays.
